For the first time, in Moldova corresponding member Constantin TURTĂ, acad. Gheorghe DUCA, prof. Nicanor BARBĂ, dr. Alic BARBA and ph.d. Ion MARIN, within the State Program “Scientific and management researches of water quality” obtained a catalyst which can be used in photochemical technique of obtaining hydrogen out of water.
This original method is based on the principle of the process of photosynthesis and could represent an important leap in obtaining energy out of water, which represents the undrainable source of future’s fuel-hydrogen.
